Description

Core Role Assist faculty and students during practical sessions in pharmaceutical labs. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments used in pharmacy education. Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards. Guide students in pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics, and medicinal chemistry labs. Help in compounding and dispensing practice sessions. Support faculty in research projects by preparing samples and conducting routine tests. Ensure compliance with AICTE/PCI norms for laboratory standards. Act as a liaison between faculty and administration for lab-related requirements. Key Responsibilities Preparation of Practical Classes Set up experiments, reagents, and equipment before student sessions. Demonstrate correct handling of instruments and materials. Laboratory Maintenance Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of labs. Regularly check and service equipment to avoid malfunctions. Inventory Management Keep records of chemicals, glassware, and consumables. Place requisitions for new supplies when needed. Quality Control Ensure accuracy in compounding, weighing, and measuring during student experiments. Monitor proper disposal of chemical waste. Documentation Maintain logbooks for equipment usage and calibration. Assist in preparing reports for audits and inspections.
