LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

  • Title: Laboratory Technician
  • Location: Greenwood, SC
  • Industry: Pharmaceutical
  • Hours: M-F: 8am-5pm
  • Salary: Up to $27.03/hr. depending on experience
  • Employment Type: Up to 6-month contract, but could be extended

The company s products and services include active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), stem cell therapies, drinking water sanitizers, vitamin B compounds, organic personal care ingredients, industrial preservatives and microbial control solution to combat viruses, bacteria and other dangerous pathogens.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent analytical testing to support the development and quality check of company s ingredient portfolio. One will be supporting both the product development and quality control departments.
  • Facilitate technology transfer and assist in onboarding global local testing laboratories for the ingredients business.
  • Perform competitive product evaluations through laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of stability testing methods tailored to customer-specific finished products.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance and innovate testing methodologies for our ingredients.
  • Proactively monitor and analyze market trends to uncover competitive insights and potential threats.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to address technical inquiries from customers with timely and accurate information.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates who recently completed Bachelor s degree or are Master s student nearing graduation will be considered.
  • Completion of industry related internship is a plus.
  • Knowledge of or experience of cGMP, GLP, FDA policies and regulations.
  • One may be required to wear PPE gowning.
