About The Role: Our Laboratory Technician role involves performing a wide range of analytical tests and quality control checks on products and materials, supporting R&D projects by developing and conducting experiments, ensuring data accuracy, maintaining lab equipment, while adhering to quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs Quality Control and Research Testing: Conducts analytical tests on incoming materials, in-process goods, and final products to ensure quality, and performs specialized tests for R&D projects
  • Supports R&D Studies and Assay Development: Collaborates with researchers to design and execute lab experiments, analyze results, and develop or validate novel biological and biochemical assays
  • Ensures Data Accuracy and Reporting: Accurately records and reports all test results, observations, and conclusions in relevant quality and reporting systems
  • Maintains Lab Instruments and Quality Assurance: Periodically checks and calibrates analytical instruments, performs first-line maintenance, and ensures all testing complies with SOPs and quality standards like ISO9001 and ISO17025
  • Contributes to Lab Improvement and Training: Identifies opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements, and may train and supervise junior laboratory personnel.
