Description
Laboratory Technician Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company with 120 years of history, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for our Long Beach facility. Responsibilities will include the following: * Performing various types of soils testing and visual soils classification. * Obtaining in-house training on machine safety and test method proficiency. * Enter samples into our software accurately. * Creating new work order numbers and entering testing data and billing items. * Computer data entry. * Assistance in other departments in the laboratory as needed. * Help with pickups on a daily basis. Requirements: * Experience in concrete, soil and rebar testing helpful. * 1+ years previous experience working with construction materials helpful. * Basic mathematics skills. * Ability to work well as both a team player and individual self-starter. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily. * Basic computer skills, specifically experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills. * Solid communication skills. * Clean DMV record.
