Description Come join our team at Glenwood Medical Associates! As a medical laboratory technologist here at GMA, a qualifying candidate will need to be able to competently and proficiently perform a variety of functions, to include: Perform quality control and clinical laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures. Perform and document preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration procedures on all tests and instruments in the lab. Answer laboratory related questions to patients, MAs, and physicians. Requirements Proficient in various clinical laboratory areas to include chemistry, hematology, and urinalysis. An associate's degree in clinical laboratory science or a bachelor's degree in a qualifying life science. At least one year experience in a qualifying clinical laboratory related position or a valid ASCP or AMT MLT certification.
Responsibilities
The Laboratory Technologist will perform quality control and clinical laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures. They will also document preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and calibrate lab tests and instruments.
