The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and demonstrated expertise in operating forklifts. If you are skilled in managing construction tasks, operating heavy machinery, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment, we would like to hear from you. Requirements Assist with various tasks on construction sites including, but not limited to, site preparation, material handling, and general labor duties. Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to move materials and equipment around the job site. Load and unload construction materials and supplies, ensuring proper handling and storage. Support tradespeople and other construction workers by providing necessary tools, materials, and assistance. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and improve overall efficiency. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning. Assist with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, temporary structures, and other construction setups. Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other team members to coordinate tasks and address any issues that arise. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Forklift Certification with proven experience operating forklifts and other construction machinery. Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field. Strong understanding of construction processes and safety procedures. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with additional construction equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, or loaders. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices. Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
