Job Summary: This position is responsible for supporting daily operations in a steel fabrication shop. Duties include operating forklifts to move materials, assisting with general labor tasks, and performing basic painting/coating of steel products. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. ---------------------------------------- Duties/Responsibilities: * Operate forklift to safely move, load, and unload steel materials * Assist with general labor tasks including material handling and shop cleanup * Prepare and paint steel products as needed * Follow all safety procedures and company policies * Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner * Assist team members with various shop tasks as needed ---------------------------------------- Qualifications: * Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred) * Experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment is a plus * Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift * Basic knowledge of tools and shop equipment * Strong attention to safety and detail * Reliable attendance and punctuality ---------------------------------------- Work Environment: This position operates in a steel fabrication shop environment with exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working both indoors and outdoors as needed.
