ABOUT THE FIRM:

Our client, a leading boutique Labour & Employment law firm with four offices across Ontario, is currently seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate (3–5 years’ experience) to join their dynamic and growing practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3–5 years of post-call experience in labour, employment, or workplace law.
• Experience in both solicitor-side advisory and litigation/dispute resolution work is an asset.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

• Labour relations (collective bargaining, grievance and interest arbitration, union certification/decertification, Labour Board representation)
• Employment law (contracts, policies, standards, discipline, discharge, wrongful dismissal, civil litigation)
• Workplace compliance & investigations (human rights, occupational health & safety, workplace safety & insurance, pay equity, privacy/data breaches)
• Attendance management, disability, and benefits (attendance programs, disability management, pensions, employee benefits)
• Organizational change (corporate restructuring, employment issues in M&A
