What you’ll be doing
As a Labour Analyst, your role will primarily focus on supporting the maintenance, accuracy, and integrity of our Labour Model. You will play a crucial role in implementing changes and improvements aligned with our Labour Strategy, aiming to enhance customer and colleague experience. Your inquisitive mindset will come into play as you interrogate and challenge the effectiveness of our labour processes, proposing improvements based on insightful data analysis and experience. Your ability to answer queries promptly and courteously will support store understanding and engagement with labour management. Additionally, you will utilise ADAPT to model business cases, providing accurate data for decision-making on labour efficiencies and improvements. Collaboration will be key as you work with various stakeholders to produce timely period update data and ensure the upkeep and integrity of Store Labour setup. By identifying potential problems, risks, and dependencies, you will play a pivotal role in mitigating issues and escalating them as appropriate. Your strong understanding of store operations, cross-functional team collaboration, and knowledge of Kronos Workforce Management Systems and retail labour processes will contribute to your success in this role. Additionally, your proficiency in MS Excel, including the creation of Lookups and Pivot Tables, along with basic SQL knowledge, will enable you to work with and interpret data effectively. As a Labour Analyst, you should possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to clearly articulate required outcomes and present analytical work in a concise manner to colleagues at all levels. You will have the opportunity to identify opportunities for process improvement, simplifying the way we work and driving greater effectiveness. Overall, you will be a valued representative of the Labour team, promoting exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
Who you are
As a Labour Analyst, you are a highly analytical and solution-oriented individual with a deep understanding of store operations and retail labour processes. With your inquisitive mind and ability to interrogate and challenge existing labour practices, you consistently seek opportunities for improvement based on insightful analysis, experience, and data. Your excellent communication and relationship-building skills allow you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, answering queries, and providing accurate and timely information to support labour management. Proficient in Kronos Workforce Management Systems and MS Excel, you have the technical expertise to model business cases, produce data updates, and maintain the integrity of labour setup. Your ability to interpret and articulate data, coupled with your continuous drive for simplicity and effectiveness, makes you a valuable asset to the Labour team, representing it credibly both in-store and with Support Centre stakeholders.
