Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting applications for one full-time, permanent position as Labour Relations Specialist in Human Resources and Corporate Communications.

The Labour Relations Specialist (LRS) is a labour professional who is responsible for the delivery of expert advice to their assigned clients to support the best possible labour relations outcomes for the municipality. Labour relations services include: fact finding/investigation, collective bargaining, grievance management, union-management relations, progressive discipline, collective agreement administration, training/education/coaching and human rights/other legal obligations.

WORK STATUS: Permanent, full time
HOURS OF WORK: 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday; 35 hours per week. Flex options to work outside of these hours and hybrid may be available.
SALARY: Non-union Level NU08 $88,690 to $104,338 annually (salary to be commensurate with experience)
WORK LOCATION: Purdy’s Wharf Tower 2, 1969 Upper Water Street, Halifax, NS.
