JOB SUMMARY:

The Labourer is responsible for performing general manual labor tasks on fit-out construction sites, assisting with the installation of interior features, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately to support skilled tradespeople and project managers in completing fit-out projects.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in general labour or construction, particularly in fit-out or similar projects, is advantageous but not essential.
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is preferred.

HEALTH AND SAFETY KNOWLEDGE:

• Understanding of basic health and safety principles, especially in a construction or fit-out environment.
• Awareness of PPE requirements and safe work practices on-site.

BASIC CONSTRUCTION TASKS:

• Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools as required (e.g., drills, saws, sanders).
• Help in the installation of interior fixtures, fittings, and furniture, including desks, shelving, and partitions.
• Assist with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and fitting materials for the project.
