Colours Building Ltd is a well-established Principal Contractor with a strong presence in the public sector. We operate mainly across the South-East of England, including Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and outer London. However, we are currently on the lookout for Sub-contractors for an upcoming Project in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Labourers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks to support construction and maintenance projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
  • Perform general site clean-up and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed.
  • Maintain an organised work area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the assembly and disassembly of structures, scaffolding, or other installations.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.
