Description

Comtech (Communication Technologies) Ltd. is an integrated communications company providing state-of-the-art telecommunication solutions. Comtech provides research and development, design, implementation, construction, and maintenance services, ensuring exceptional quality, high-performance systems.
The Labourer is responsible for assisting with receiving and stocking inventory, as well as assembling materials and delivering orders to jobsites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing light maintenance to company vehicles, tools, and buildings as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with work at job sites (ground crew or assist with technical installs)
  • Willingness to learn a variety of tasks including tower climbing
  • Willingness to be on call and perform initial site visit information gathering or possible reset of on site equipment.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking inventory
  • Assemble material orders and deliver to jobsites
  • Perform light maintenance to company vehicles, tools, and buildings

Requirements:

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self – motivated and able to multi-task
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Telecommunications experience is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Forklift certification considered an asset
  • Able to lift and carry a minimum 50lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
