OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our fire and flood restoration team. This is a physically demanding but rewarding role involving the clean-up and remediation of properties damaged by fire, smoke, water, or mould. You will work on-site to support specialist technicians in restoring residential and commercial buildings to a habitable condition.

SKILLS

• Previous experience in a labouring, construction, or restoration role
• Good physical fitness and stamina
• Ability to work in challenging environments (e.g. damp, smoke-affected or confined spaces)
• Punctual, dependable, and a strong team player
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions

• Assist in the clean-up and removal of fire- and water-damaged materials from affected properties
• Operate drying equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and other restoration tools under supervision
• Perform basic demolition, strip-out and preparation work as required
• Clean and sanitise fire- and flood-damaged structures and contents
• Ensure workspaces are safe, tidy, and in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Load and unload materials, tools and equipment from vehicles
• Support technicians in moisture monitoring and fire residue removal tasks
• Follow all company protocols and client requirements while on-site
• Accurately complete job sheets, logs, and inventory forms as needed
• Wear appropriate PPE and maintain hygiene standards, especially when handling hazardous materials
