CONSTRUCTION LABOURER Firma Contracting is currently seeking skilled Construction Labourers to work on underground and earthworks projects located in Edmonton. Responsibilities: Physical tasks, including digging, sweeping, sampling, lifting, shoveling, moving containers and other heavy materials Ensure safety fences / markings are all in place Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed Actively participate in all safety meetings General site housekeeping Qualifications: Previous construction experience is required Prior water and sewer / underground utility experience is an asset Understand how to use power/small tools such as plate tampers, carb saws, etc. Ability to work long hours (10+ hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions Physical able to perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving heavy materials up to 50lbs Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day Positive attitude / team player Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction Safety Certifications: CSTS 2020 (required) WHMIS 2015 (required)
Responsibilities
