Responsibilities

Lucideon are industry leaders in the testing of construction products and components, with the largest commercial structural testing laboratory in the world, once even housing a two-storey building for testing! The very building you live in, school you went to, shopping centre you’ve visited – their building materials may well have been tested by Lucideon. We make the world a better, safer place for construction workers and ultimately end users.
As a Labourer, you will be tasked with supporting the Set-Up Team in a variety of ways; from creating standard builds to more unique requirements that have never been built before. No two days are the same and you’ll be utilising your problem-solving and a variety of other skills from bricklaying, plumbing, manual handling and more, all in conjunction with relevant quality and safety standards.
And the best bit? This is all under one roof (no more sunburn, wet boots or frostbite), on one site, during set days and hours (better work/life balance).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Having an understanding of different bonds and basic building techniques
  • Building walls within frames, free standing walls, couplets, triplets, lintels
  • Ensuring that building is plumb, whether it is straight, flat or vertical
  • Preparation of rebar and shuttering for concrete framework
