POST-SECONDARY SUMMER STUDENT HR-SS-2026-15 Job Title: Student Labourer Date Posted: Friday, February 6, 2026 Department: Community Services Closing Date: 4pm, Friday, February 20, 2026 Location: Recreation Facility Reports To: Manager of Recreation Hourly Wage: $20.00 per hour with benefits as per the Employment Standards Act. Job Summary: This position will perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties; assist with special events, painting and light maintenance, yardwork, and landscaping duties. This position will work up to 40-hour work week with a flexible schedule. Anticipated employment period from May to August 2026. Position Requirements: High School diploma Must have CSA approved protective footwear with minimum 5 inches high cut CSA Grade 1 with sole puncture protection. Have a valid class “G” driver’s license The successful applicant will be required to obtain and submit a criminal background check and driver’s abstract at their own expense prior to start date. This position is open to students who are presently attending school on a full-time basis and returning to a recognized post-secondary institution (full-time) in September 2026.
