Description Line Cook | Lakeview Inn LOCATION: Lakeview Inn – Skytop Lodge, PA SCHEDULE: Part Time or Full-Time | PM Shifts | Weekends & Holidays Required REPORTS TO: Executive Chef | Executive Sous Chef | Sous Chefs DEPARTMENT: Culinary Operations Lakeview Inn is Skytop Lodge’s Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, centered around seasonal ingredients, vibrant flavors, and thoughtful presentation. Our kitchen focuses on bright Mediterranean cooking, fresh vegetables, seafood and proteins, house-made pastas, olive oils, herbs, citrus, and simple ingredients executed with care. Plates are clean, balanced, and flavorful—food that feels both rustic and refined. Cooks at Lakeview take pride in crafting house-made components, including fresh pasta, and preparing dishes that highlight quality ingredients and strong fundamentals. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Experience working on a professional kitchen line Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Basic knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques Ability to stay organized during high-volume service Respect for food safety and sanitation standards Interest in Mediterranean flavors and handmade cooking, including fresh pasta WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Run Your Station – Grill, sauté, or pantry. Maintain strong mise en place, stay organized and execute dishes with consistency during service. Prep With Purpose – Execute daily prep lists including vegetables, sauces, proteins, and fresh pasta components. Cook Clean Mediterranean Food – Work with herbs, citrus, olive oil, seafood, and seasonal vegetables to produce vibrant dishes. Respect the Plate – Maintain clean, thoughtful presentation that reflects the Lakeview dining experience. Work as a Team – Support fellow cooks and help maintain flow during busy services.
