Description Job Summary The Laminator is responsible for setting up and operating lamination equipment to assemble multi-layer constructions according to customer specifications and quality standards. This position also includes hand-applying adhesives and materials, inspecting overlays and windows, and back-splitting products to ensure production accuracy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Equipment Operation & Production Set up and operate lamination machines to process various materials. Hand apply and guide adhesives and materials during assembly. Set up and run back splitter, corner rounder, and grommet machines. Cut raw materials to required dimensions. Inspection & Quality Control Read and interpret job bags, blueprints, and written procedures. Inspect windows and overlays for clarity and quality. Ensure accuracy in material application, alignment, and adherence. Maintain daily production records and fill out inventory tags as required. Safety & Workplace Organization Follow all company safety procedures when operating machinery and handling materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency. Assist with routine maintenance of equipment as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, but the Laminator is expected to adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards while demonstrating leadership in production accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements. One to three months of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training. Experience in printing, lamination, or manufacturing is a plus. Must have good judgment of color, design, and print quality. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, job specifications, and safety guidelines. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to identify and resolve material or equipment-related issues efficiently. Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Requirements This is a full time, Monday through Friday, position with first shift hours generally 7am to 3:30pm. This position requires occasional overtime.
