SUMMARY OF POSITION

To trouble-shoot problems, maintain the line and ensure that production meets the documented work order requirements.

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must have basic math and computer skills
  • Be able to read gauges and meters and to make length measurements
  • Must understand production schedules

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A high degree of continuous movement and manual dexterity
  • Continuous positioning and lifting of weights from 25-60 lbs.
  • Standing 100% of time
  • Detail oriented with an eye for accuracy
  • Troubleshoot machine when not operating correctly
  • Perform all Laminator machine change-overs
  • Ensure all set-ups are correct prior to running orders
  • Perform data-entry on SAP Computer System
  • Must make preventive maintenance inspections
  • Continuous mental and visual attention
  • Accuracy in recording required data
  • Monitor quality at all times
  • Assist in departmental programs of safety, housekeeping, and preventative maintenance
  • Participate in S4 continuous improvement team meetings and projects
  • Apply S4 concepts to work cells
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Shift Manager or Plant Manager.
