Description Design-Tex is seeking a detail-oriented Laminator to join our production team. This role is responsible for manually applying laminate to particle board components at the early stages of the manufacturing process. Because the lamination step sets the quality foundation for all downstream work, precision, consistency, and care are critical. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy in alignment and adhesion, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment. Key Responsibilities · Manually apply laminate sheets to particle board according to project specifications. · Ensure correct alignment, adhesion, trimming, and finishing of laminated surfaces. · Prepare raw materials by cleaning, measuring, and ensuring proper fit before lamination. · Inspect materials for imperfections and verify quality before and after lamination. · Use hand tools such as rollers, knives, and trimming tools safely and effectively. · Follow production schedules and communicate material shortages or quality issues. · Maintain a clean, organized work area to support accurate, high-quality output. · Adhere to company safety procedures and guidelines for handling tools and materials. Requirements · Experience with manual lamination or similar hands-on manufacturing tasks. · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. · Ability to measure, align, and manually apply materials with precision. · Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs. · Reliable, consistent work habits and a strong work ethic.
