Description Contingent Award- TOP Secret Clearance Required This position is on-site but must be near a DLA facility (e.g. Anniston, AL, Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; New Cumberland, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Battle Creek, MI; San Antonio, TX; Ogden, UT; Richmond, VA; Warner Robins, GA; Fort Belvoir, VA; Norfolk, VA,) Connected Logistics is seeking four Lan Leads in each region (Northeast, Central, Southeast, West) to support the Department of Defense and the DLA Information Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS), Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS), Local Area Network Branch (NTS-LAN) is located enterprise wide at multiple DLA locations. This contract is intended to support wired and wireless LAN functions by providing skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support of current and new technologies to the Local Area Network (LAN). Requirements In this role you will work under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters. Assist Network Engineering team with equipment lifecycle planning and installation, as well as development of technical specifications for procurement of Enterprise LAN equipment. Coordinate with the Network Engineering team for the placement and cabling of LAN equipment within the DLA enclave Development of market research for new equipment and provide recommendations to Government POC Provide input on LAN designs and architecture as required Perform lab testing of LAN equipment Provide knowledge transfer to the NTS-LAN government staff Track assigned projects, provide regular updates to the Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) and Government POC Attend meetings regarding LAN support and assigned projects Effectively task, track, monitor and report on tickets, projects, and special assignments within their area of responsibility Deliverables: NTS-LAN drawings and updates Project Updates Minimum Requirements: NON-NEGOTIABLE Five (5) years of progressive LAN experience Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitivity Clearance: Top Secret DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification or higher: Category IAT Level I- A+, Network +, SEC+ Computing Environment: CCNP, CCNA, CWNP, CWDP, CTNS Connected Logistics respects the need for confidentiality for all applicants.
