In this position you will play a key role in underwriting the purchases of new communities for Seksui House U.S. Inc. The Land Acquisition Analyst will play a key role in the Company’s land functions and assist in evaluating land acquisition opportunities. Responsibilities Coordinate and conduct the technical and financial feasibility analysis of acquisition opportunities. Obtain and analyze Due Diligence materials for project feasibility. Assist managers in the preparation of corporate land acquisition approval packages. Support and assist with entitlement/zoning documents. Conduct research to assist managers in determining project timelines and schedules. Conduct general research in selected jurisdictions and solo-markets to facilitate the identification of land opportunities. Perform various administrative tasks to assist in the land acquisition process. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, real estate, business or related field. 1-2 years experience in an analyitical role in real estate. The candidate will possess good human relations/interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with all levels of management. Good negotiation skills. Great planning and organizing ability. Skills in exercising and completing initiatives, problem-solving, and sound decision making. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
