THE ROLE:

As Land Acquisition Scout you will be responsible for identifying, assessing and acquiring land for solar energy projects; playing a pivotal role in growing their solar and/or wind portfolio.

SOME DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE:

• Identify, assess and qualify potential sites for solar/wind farm development through on-site visits, cold calling and conducting research.
• Conduct due-diligence and perform comprehensive research on land ownership, laws, grid accessibility, and environmental factors to confirm site feasibility.
• Negotiating and finalising land lease agreements, power purchase agreements and other transactions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landowners and co-ordinating with relevant internal and external bodies.
• Serving as the main point of contact throughout the whole acquiring process.
