Overview and Responsibilities Are you an animal enthusiast who is keen to motivate the next generation in animal care? Do you believe that every child has a future? Job Role: Group Tutor Land Based Contract: Term-time/39+2 weeks/Permanent/ 37.5 hours per week Salary: £26,586 per annum (FTE) Your Purpose As our Land Based Group Tutor you will have the creative freedom to develop engaging ways to make animal care and crafting captivating to our learners. Here within our Land based team we work with not only a variety of learners but also a variety of animals. Your role will involve caring for our animals which include but are not limited to goats, guinea pigs, Geese, Frogs and Snakes. Your new role will start at 8:30am so you have time to map out your activities for the day and let out the animals. From 9:30am-3pm learners will be on site and then from 3pm you will have plenty of admin time to write your reports ready to send off before home time at 4pm. Skills and Qualifications We Need Our ideal candidate will have a creative outlook to learning and experience working with learners that are neurodiverse. You will need to have experience working within a key stage 3, 4 and 5 setting. Having experience with Animal care in a work setting, Animal care qualification or if you have a level 3 teaching assistant qualification would be beneficial. 25 12 LBS GT.docx (1) There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
