Job Responsibilities Serve as the technical lead for survey efforts Conduct field survey efforts for roadway, site, and energy design projects using Trimble GNSS, S-Series Total Stations, and Trimble data collectors Provide support to construction projects and staff by collecting as-built documentation and/or staking improvements Accurately compile survey data, calculations, and deliverables Communicate effectively internally and externally Research previous survey evidence, including maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records, to obtain data needed for surveys Process survey work and deliverables, offering valuable input and contributing to project success Job Requirements An Associate Degree in Land Surveying or related field, or applicable experience in lieu of education 3+ years of field survey experience A sense of ownership and collaboration in a team environment Proficiencies or desire to grow skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, either personal or company vehicle, to travel to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences (this position primarily utilizes company provided vehicle(s)) To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work Life at JT: The Benefits and Perks At JT, we offer more than just a job - we provide a thriving workplace culture and exceptional benefits.
