We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will conduct accurate surveys, analyze data, and provide essential information for various construction and development projects. Conduct property, topographic, and construction surveys using advanced equipment (Total Station, GPS, laser scanning) Analyze and interpret survey data, maps, plans, and legal documents, preparing detailed field notes, sketches, and reports Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey data meets requirements and deadlines, performing quality control checks Assist in developing survey plans for complex projects and stay updated on local land surveying regulations Ensure adherence to safety procedures during field work and manage junior surveyors as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Minimum of 4 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in the UAE Proficiency in operating survey instruments, including Total Station, GPS, and laser scanning equipment Strong knowledge of survey techniques, including property surveys, topographic surveys, and construction stakeout Ability to read and interpret survey notes, sketches, maps, deeds, as-builts, and construction plans Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation, or similar surveying software Familiarity with GIS software and applications Excellent mathematical and geometric skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites within Abu Dhabi Knowledge of local land surveying regulations and practices in Abu Dhabi Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Physical capability to perform fieldwork in various weather conditions Additional Information Preferred Qualifications: Experience with transportation and environmental survey projects Familiarity with UAE construction standards and practices Knowledge of Arabic language (spoken and written) About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
