JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our fastly growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land surveying, data management, and construction practices. This role involves conducting surveys to determine land boundaries, preparing detailed drawings using AutoCAD and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project accuracy and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in land surveying with a strong understanding of surveying principles and practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and SCC Survey Control Software is essential.
• Strong data management skills with the ability to organise and analyse survey information effectively.
• Familiarity with construction processes and regulations is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Stockport SK7 5E

• Conduct land surveys using appropriate techniques and equipment to determine property boundaries and topographical features.
• Prepare accurate survey drawings and reports using AutoCAD and CAD software.
• Utilise ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis to support project planning and execution.
• Manage survey data effectively, ensuring it is organised and accessible for team members.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide necessary survey information for projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all surveying activities.
• Perform fieldwork as required, which may involve working in various weather conditions.
• Maintain surveying equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
