Job Title: Land Surveyor – Construction Company
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary: AED 5,000 – AED 6,000 per month

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in the construction industry, providing accurate measurements and ensuring the precision of construction sites in line with project requirements. You will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing site reports, and working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven experience with advanced surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station, GPS, and Leveling Instrument).
• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, principles, and methods.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software for preparing survey drawings and reports.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and legal land documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and reporting.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments.
• Valid UAE driver’s license and own vehicle (preferred).
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Certification in land surveying or a related field.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects (e.g., infrastructure, roads, buildings).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Perform land surveys for construction sites, including boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys.
• Use specialized surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station, GPS, Leveling Instrument) to measure and record data accurately.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, site plans, and other documents for use by engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Analyze survey data to determine elevation, contours, and other important topographic features.
• Assist in the creation of site plans for proposed construction, ensuring all measurements align with legal and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with the project team to resolve any surveying or land-related issues that may arise during construction.
• Ensure all survey work complies with local regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure its proper functionality.
• Perform field measurements, and provide technical support to the construction crew to ensure the project progresses smoothly.
