Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor - Marine to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for conducting precise marine surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and providing essential information for various marine and coastal projects throughout the region. Set up and operate specialized marine surveying equipment, including GPS and sonar technology Conduct bathymetric surveys to measure and map underwater terrain with exceptional accuracy Perform hydrographic surveys for coastal engineering and offshore projects Collect, process, and analyze survey data using advanced software tools and GIS applications Prepare detailed reports, charts, and maps based on survey findings Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to support marine construction and development initiatives Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, local marine regulations, and environmental guidelines Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation Participate in safety briefings and adhere to all safety protocols for marine operations Conduct tidal and current measurements to support various marine projects Contribute to the planning and execution of marine construction and dredging projects Travel to various coastal and offshore sites within the UAE as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in marine surveying Proven proficiency in using marine surveying equipment, including GPS and sonar technology Extensive experience with data processing software and GIS applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail Strong physical fitness to work in challenging offshore conditions Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel to various coastal and offshore sites in the UAE Safety-conscious mindset with thorough knowledge of marine safety protocols In-depth understanding of local marine regulations and environmental standards Experience with tidal and current measurements Familiarity with marine construction and dredging projects Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently Adaptability to work in diverse marine environments and weather conditions Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
