QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or LSIT preferred or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in land surveying, including 2+ years in a project management or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Leica Cyclone, Bluebeam).
  • Strong understanding of construction, boundary, and topographic surveying practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with BIM, GIS, and 3D modeling tools is a plus.
    Pay Range: $85,000-$100,000

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and manage multiple land surveying projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and deadlines.
  • Supervise field crews and office staff, providing guidance on project requirements and technical procedures.
  • Review and QA/QC survey data, calculations, and final deliverables including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, construction layout, and 3D reality capture outputs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining strong working relationships and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules in collaboration with the Survey Director and Business Development team.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal surveying standards and regulations.
  • Support integration of advanced geospatial technologies such as laser scanning, UAV, and mobile mapping into project workflows.
  • Mentor junior staff and promote professional growth within the team.
