Description Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) is a well-respected, multi-discipline engineering/consulting firm headquartered in Allentown, PA, with additional offices throughout eastern and central PA. We provide civil/land development, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, geotechnical, environmental, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients in Pennsylvania and beyond. Entry and mid-level land surveyors are needed to serve on field crews and assist civil engineers in our Northeast PA offices. Candidates should have a technical background (strong skills in geometry required); prior survey course work or field experience preferred; familiarity with AutoCAD a plus. These positions will provide opportunities to learn and grow with our expanding departments. Entry-level surveyors will be trained in: placing stakes, pins, and monuments; being familiar with commonly used surveying terms; using total stations and other instruments; note keeping and electronic data collectors; data analysis and adjustment; project research and plotting of information obtained; and AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting. Our survey crews perform boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys; construction stake-outs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, prepare minor subdivisions and assist in completion of major subdivision and land development plans. Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD using Civil3d. Technical degree in land surveying or related course work. Design experience a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Current, valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work in field, office or remotely, as needed.
