LANDING ZONE CONTROLLER (MRT/LZ)

Vector Solutions is seeking a highly qualified MRT/LZ to support AFSOC’s Mission Rehearsal Team (MRT) program at Hurlburt Field. A qualified candidate will have significant experience in air traffic control (ATC) services and meet the responsibilities listed in DAFMAN 13-217 and FAAH JO 7110.65. The Landing Zone Safety Officer will observe/evaluate factors that may adversely affect safety and efficiency and will meet the responsibilities listed in DAFMAN 13-217. The successful candidate will have a SECRET clearance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of related experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have a SOF background or be familiar with special operations procedures and requirements.
• Combat Controller (CCT) experience or the equivalent in the performance of LZ duties
• Completed a Department of Defense, Department of Transportation ATC course or the USAF Combat Control Operator Course.
• CCT or ATC, with a MFR certifying previously trained and certified LZC

  · High School diploma or GED
  · 5+ years of experience with AF operations (SOF experience preferred)
