About the role: We are seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader to oversee and ensure efficient lawn maintenance. Strong leadership, landscaping knowledge, and commitment to quality service are essential. We are seeking a Landscape Foreman to oversee and coordinate the activities of our team of landscapers. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in landscaping, possess strong leadership skills, and ensure that all work is performed with the utmost quality and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities: Supervises the daily activities of a team of landscapers, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Inspect completed work to ensure that it meets quality standards and specifications. Provide guidance and training to landscapers on proper techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Monitor and enforce safety regulations to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries. Assist in the training of new employees, ensuring they are familiar with landscape techniques and safety procedures. Snow removal from various surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment, ensuring safe and accessible conditions during winter weather. Operate excavators and skid loaders as needed to support the team and project requirements. Requirements: Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Flexibility to work additional hours during peak seasons or when necessary. Strong knowledge and proficiency in hardscapes, including paver patios, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces. Proven experience in landscaping, with a focus on supervision and coordination. Strong knowledge of landscape techniques, plant materials, and horticultural practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team. Attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality workmanship. Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to enforce them consistently. Experience operating excavators and skid loaders is highly desirable. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience and skill level.
