JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations /Account Manager. The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities, be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, growing a book of work through ancillary sales, managing and directing multiple crews with direct contact with crew supervisors, and ensuring jobsite quality. This role requires a blend of negotiation skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. As an Operations/Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering long-term partnerships and contributing to the overall growth of our organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in Landscape operations, account management or related fields, with a strong background in sales and customer service.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated and driven to achieve individual goals.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
  • Clean Driving Record with the ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives. Daily communication with clients.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new opportunities and expanding existing accounts through sales of ancillary (enhancement) work.
  • Provide accurate estimates to new and existing clients as needed.
  • Ensure client’s projects are scheduled and completed on time, within scope and meets or exceeds sales margins.
  • Direct contact with clients addressing any inquiries and resolving concerns as needed.
  • Coordinate consistent and timely site visits to review site quality and to ensure that client expectations are met. Attention to potential plant and/or turf pests and diseases, irrigation issues, etc.
  • Delegate work to crew members and ensure that any site quality issues are communicated and resolved (be proactive)
  • Manage your book of work’s landscape enhancement services, including the coordination of materials, people, equipment required to produce quality work
  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior team members and sharing best practices within the team.
