At Allscapes Landscape, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail, excellent client service, and teamwork. We’re looking for a motivated, organized, and reliable individual to join our team and support both our Sales Manager and Operations Manager.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Landscape Sales & Estimating Assistant / Junior Landscape Architect, you’ll play a key role in helping our business grow. This hybrid role combines client communication, estimating, and field support while also offering opportunities to apply and develop design and landscape architecture skills. You will prepare accurate estimates, assist in managing the sales process, and provide outstanding service to new and existing clients. This position is ideal for someone with sales, estimating, or design/architecture experience who enjoys variety, thrives on building client relationships, and is comfortable representing the company both in the office and in the field.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sales experience in landscaping, construction, or related industry (preferred)
  • Estimating experience or comfort working with estimating software/spreadsheets
  • Background in design, drafting, or landscape architecture (asset)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professional email etiquette
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Valid G Driver’s License and comfort driving to appointments
  • Customer-focused mindset with proven relationship-building skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
  • Prepare landscape estimates and quotes based on site visits, field notes, and client discussions
  • Support the sales team by helping manage leads from first contact through follow-up
  • Draft and send professional client emails, respond to inquiries, and maintain communication records
  • Attend client appointments with the Sales Manager, acting as a driver when required
  • Safely operate the company van to and from appointments (G license required)
  • Assist with note-taking, gathering client information, and preparing proposals
  • Represent the company professionally at solo appointments when needed
  • Conduct proactive follow-ups (phone and email) to move prospects through the sales pipeline
  • Contribute design input and landscape architecture knowledge to enhance proposals and client presentations
