SLR’S LOCAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE TEAM ARE BASED IN BRISBANE (MEANJIN) AND LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE CITY ADJACENT THE BRISBANE RIVER. THEY FORM PART OF A GLOBAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL, VISUAL AMENITY AND URBAN DESIGN PRESENCE IN AUSTRALIA AND NZ, UK AND THE AMERICAS MANAGING A DIVERSE RANGE OF EXCITING PROJECTS FOR OUR BUSINESS, AND GOVERNMENT CLIENTS ACROSS AUSTRALIA.

We are seeking applications from qualified (and eligible to be registered) Landscape Architects with circa 2-5 years’ experience.
We work in a flexible office environment and pride ourselves on our relaxed and positive culture, regular social events and positive client feedback.

EXPERIENCE

As the successful candidate you will display high quality technical abilities, a passion for great landscape design, environmental and sustainability-based outcomes, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has :

  • AILA recognised qualifications
  • Eligibility and willingness to be registered (AILA registration - Registered Landscape Architect)
  • Circa 2-5 years’ experience within a consultancy or similar Landscape-focused team
  • Creative design skills and looks for opportunities to solve problems differently and with a focus on sustainability and cultural awareness
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact well with other professionals and clients as well as leading others
  • the desire to learn from senior staff
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to be involved in and to start playing a key role in a range of projects from proposals to site administration
  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships
  • A Commitment to environmental, cultural and social responsibility that is conveyed in their design outcomes
  • Excellent graphic presentation skills
  • Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence and Citizenship or right to work in Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our award winning and industry recognised Landscape Architecture and Visual Amenity team in Brisbane.
You will contribute to a wide range of project types across landscape architecture, visual assessment, Masterplanning and urban design. This will include client and proposal management, concept design, documentation and construction services and report preparation. You will receive mentoring from industry recognised professionals that care about building a great team and about the skills of each team member.
This opportunity will help accelerate your career growth and development of your individual professional profile within the industry.
