Responsibilities:

A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Team Leader Landscape Architect Subdivisions, you will provide support and advice to developers and external consultants in the provision of outstanding public space, evaluating and ultimately approving detailed landscape plans in accordance with planning permits. You will collaborate closely and liaise with other council business units including the Town Planning Growth Area, Engineering Subdivisions and other internal units involved in the growth subdivisions process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver high quality design outcomes in collaboration with developers and consultants
  • Produce comprehensive assessments of subdivision landscape and urban design proposals
  • Develop strategies to ensure improved landscaping and design outcomes in new subdivisions
