Description Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Landscape Architecture Intern to join our Landscape team in one of our Texas offices. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Landscape Architect, preforms entry level design tasks, project coordination, and training. Works cooperatively as part of a design team and with other professionals in engineering and survey to produce detailed construction drawings, exhibits, graphics, renderings and computations. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities: Successfully performs basic design assignments on various projects as assigned. Maintains effective communication, both verbal and written, with other landscape team members, both in the location they are assigned to and throughout the firm. Uses good time management methods and habits to meet schedule requirements. Use developed organizational skills to complete assignments efficiently and thoroughly. Effectively uses current computer aided design and production software to maximize efficiency of production. Contributes to a positive environment and team approach for all assignments. Consistently uses the standards and procedures set in place. Required Skills: Pursuing a Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning degree from an ABET accredited college or University. Ability to apply technical skills to meet project needs. Willingness to learn and contribute to the current projects. Attention to detail.
Responsibilities
