Ivy League Landscaping is hiring! Join an established Landscape Construction company with 30+ years in the Industry. We are an innovative smaller company who are looking for permanent full time individuals who is reliable, hardworking, energetic with a positive attitude to join our landscape team.
The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in paving stones, patio and path installation, natural stone installation, concrete, retaining wall installation, turf and artificial turf installation, garden installation, lawn and garden drainage, water features and material installation such as soil, mulch and gravels, planting and excavation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
• We are seeking someone who enjoys working outside in all weather conditions. Various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, cold, snow, dust and noise
• Typical hours would be Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm; however operational demand throughout the season may vary in starting/ending times and may require overtime.
• We require you to be responsible for getting to and from each job site on time, locations will vary.
• We service many areas in the lower mainland including but not limited to, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Mission etc.,
  We are seeking individuals who take pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, enjoys working in a team atmosphere but can also be relied upon to work individually. We also have the ability to create a flexible working schedule for the right candidate
  NOTE: We service many areas in the lower mainland including but not limited to, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge, Mission, Chilliwack etc.,

• Must have 2+ years experience with a previous landscape company
• Must have effective communication skills and be able to work independently or alongside other crew members, reporting to supervisor as required (a text message with pictures of completed tasks at the end of each work day)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently and effectively
• Physically fit and strong stamina. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly over a entire work shift.
• Dig holes and plant trees and plants repetitively keeping a fast moving pace.
• Cart and spread top soil
• Lay turf/artificial turf or seed
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Ability to operate skid steers and excavators or a willingness to learn
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials or a willingness to learn
• Carpentry skills is an asset
