Bosma Landscape Service is grounds maintenance and landscape design company nestled in the heart of Niagara Wine Country. We are currently seeking individuals interested in employment who possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our growing team within our Construction division.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? *EXPERIENCED AND NON-EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES WELCOME TO APPLY

• Successful candidates will have a positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude with previous experience in general labour
• We are seeking both entry level and experienced candidates to join our growing teams. Those with previous experience in landscape construction is preferred.
• Post secondary education in the construction industry or relevant experience is a strong asset
• Previous experience in the landscape construction industry is an asset
• Valid Class G or G2 licence with a clean abstract is required. Experience with driving commercial vehicles, dump trucks, trailers etc. is an asset
• Horticulture and equipment experience and knowledge is a strong asset
• Successful candidates must be able to work safely and effectively in extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat) and physically demanding tasks throughout the day (i.e. lifting, bending)
• Strong communication skills to effectively work alongside co-workers to ensure a job well done and a satisfied customer
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Reliable
• Team-oriented
• Must be able to report to our yard located in Beamsville

As part of the construction division, you will participate amongst a team of hardworking, dedicated and knowledgeable crews in a wide variety of residential and commercial projects.

• Work alongside crews in the build of all residential and commercial construction projects including interlock patios, driveways, walkways, retaining walls, fencing, water features & more
• Operate various pieces of equipment including but not limited to, skid steers, mini excavators, powered hand tools such as stone and saws, tampers and others
• Safely and appropriately load and secure equipment onto trailers
• Effectively communicate with on site clientele and co-workers to ensure seamless project completion
• Complete paperwork as required
• Attend project and safety meetings as necessary
• Participate in snow removal practices throughout the winter season
• Adhere to all legislative and company policies and procedure
