Ready to swap fluorescent lights for sunshine? At Wilco Contractors Northwest, we create streetscapes, green spaces, and gardens that make our city proud – and we’re looking for energetic, hard-working people who want to be part of something beautiful. We’re seeking individuals who are safety-conscious and ready to roll up their sleeves. Working hours are 10-12 hours per day, Monday through Saturday.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in construction is preferred.
• Candidates must possess the ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds; physical stamina is essential.
• Must hold a Minimum Class 5 driver’s license and possess a personal vehicle as public transportation is not available.
• Exceptional communication skills are required, with fluency in English—ensuring safety is paramount.
• Understanding of safety protocols and a dedicated commitment to adhering to all safety regulations is necessary.
• Exhibit a “Safety First Attitude” on a daily basis.
• CSTS 2020 certification is mandatory (may be provided).
• Applicants should provide their own CSA approved steel-toed boots and a mobile smartphone.
• Work in the fresh air and sunshine (no gym membership required).
