We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Estimator to support our Project Managers in delivering exceptional commercial landscape construction projects. This role blends estimating, project coordination, subcontractor relations, and administrative support, and includes mentoring our Associate Project Engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in all phases of project delivery.
  • Review plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate material lists.
  • Track, process, and communicate revisions, change orders, addendums, and new plans.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors—sending plans, tracking quotes, and following up on pricing.
  • Assist with contracts, RFIs, submittals, billings, close-outs, and warranty letters.
  • Work with purchasing to source and manage long-lead items.
  • Coordinate site furnishing procurement and delivery.
  • Maintain logs for RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, nurseries, and subcontractors.
  • Attend field visits and tagging trips as needed.
  • Mentor and assist in the training of Associate Project Engineers.
  • Take and maintain accurate job meeting minutes.
  • Ensure compliance with site-specific safety plans.
