Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Landscape Project Manager is a full-time position, responsible for ensuring that planting & landscaping projects (both softscape and hardscape) are completed and performed to the company’s standards. You will be collaborating with various department managers, depending on the nature of the project. You are responsible for the client consultation, review of estimates, organization, and completion of various Urban Garden landscape projects. This position requires a successful balance of both office time/duties and on-site field work and supervision.
This full-time position entails an approximate 40-50 hour per week, as per time of season.

Responsibilities:

· Manage and supervise the preparation and installation of various Urban Garden landscape projects.
· Occasional preparation of estimates and proposals for clients, attend site meetings. (The use of our estimating software is required).
· Oversee, acquire, and source materials, plants & equipment needed for corresponding projects.
· Create and coordinate work schedules.
· Collaborate with Designers/Architects – understand, interpret, and carry out landscape designs (ie: drawings and various construction details).
· Work with vendors to ensure cost effective/efficient receiving of material.
· Work closely with subcontractors to ensure efficient scheduling and progress of job installation.
· Participate in finding new subcontractors and trades for contacts, projects, and options.
· Work with UG Shop Manager to ensure vehicles, equipment, deliveries and/or materials are communicated.
· Supervise Staff/Crew Management.
· Carry out regular site inspections ensuring all contracts and projects receive high quality service and installations.
· Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members follow government and company PPE standards.
