As Landscape Construction Sales, you love leading clients down a creative
process to help them build their dreams. You’re a great listener and naturally build relationships. Details are important to you and you’re confident with landscape building techniques. And of course, you have keen design sense, can articulate what it takes to build complex landscapes, and are a motivated, goal oriented sales professional.

As our new Landscape Construction Sales you will be responsible for consulting, qualifying, design sales, collaboration, estimating, proposal building, project sales and client care.

If you were working for us, here are some of the things you would have done last week:

• Consulting and Qualifying - You’d qualify design opportunities, meet with clients to consult and problem solve, uncover budgets, set project expectations and complete all required site inventory information.
• Design Sales and Collaboration - You’d build and sell design proposals, organize, prioritize and manage ongoing designs – all while balancing client needs, budget and company standards. You’d ensure that completed design packages from concept through construction plans are complete, creative, and buildable, working in collaboration with our construction manager.
• Estimating and Proposal Building - You’d estimate all designs following company process, standards and software, writing proposals in a compelling and detailed fashion, and providing a clear project handoff to our project manager.
• Project Sales and Client Care – You’d actively lead clients though our sales process, presenting and confirming proposals in a timely fashion. Record keeping and team work is important, so you’d be documenting all sales activity in our company CRM, participating in meetings and training, preparing sales forecasts, promoting cross referrals internally and resolving customer conflicts when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideally, here’s what we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in residential landscape construction
• Passion for landscapes
• Good knowledge in Horticulture
• Experienced and confident with landscape design and building
• Confident with sales and construction processes and technical details
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Detail oriented, highly organized, and can multi-task
• People oriented, takes leadership
• Results oriented and performance driven
• Motivated to beat deadlines and sales targets
• Proven sales history and track record of $2M plus per year in residential design build sales
