Responsibilities
  • Coordinate tasks like a pro, keeping everything running smoothly
  • Assign responsibilities and make sure your crew is set up for success
  • Train, support, and supervise your team while keeping things positive
  • Lead regular team meetings onsite to discuss daily and weekly goals and any issues that need attention
  • Oversee the use of machinery and equipment (because safety and efficiency are key)
  • Keep an eye on the budget and expenses (we like to stay on track)
  • Troubleshoot problems and come up with solutions like a boss
  • Keep managers updated on progress
  • Monitor attendance and ensure everyone’s pulling together as a team
  • Take care of tools and equipment with regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance
  • Promote and enforce health and safety procedures

What You Bring to the Table:

  • At least 5 years of landscape construction experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on hardscape construction experience (think plan reading, concrete work, and elevations)
  • 3+ years leading a crew and keeping things on track
  • Experience operating construction equipment (like skid steers, backhoes, mini excavators)
  • Know-how in site prep: drainage, grading, and bed preparation
  • Concrete forming and pouring experience would be considered an asset
  • A solid understanding of commercial landscape construction best practices
  • The ability to roll with the punches in ever-changing weather conditions
  • A valid G license
