Description The Landscape Delivery & Installation Foreman leads and coordinates landscape installation projects and plant/material deliveries for Lukas Nursery’s customers. This role ensures that every project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the company’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Foreman oversees a small crew, manages daily schedules, and serves as the on-site point of contact for the customer. This position combines hands-on installation work with team leadership, requiring strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a keen eye for detail. This full-time, Non-Exempt position includes weekday hours with occasional weekends or overtime as project needs arise. Outdoor work in various Florida weather conditions is required. Key Responsibilities: Fulfill timely and efficient product deliveries Lead and participate in the installation of landscape projects, including plants & trees, mulch, sod, edging, and decorative hardscape elements Supervise, train, and motivate installation crew members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity Coordinate daily work schedules, delivery routes, and site logistics with Routing & Dispatch Personnel Serve as the primary contact for customers on-site, ensuring professional and positive experience Review and interpret sales orders and/or landscape plans, ensuring accurate execution of services Load and deliver plants, materials, and equipment safely to job sites using company vehicles and trailers Operate and oversee use of equipment such as skid steers, augers, and trenchers Inspect all materials for quality and accuracy before delivery and installation Ensure compliance with company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment Communicate project updates, challenges, and completion reports to the Routing & Dispatch Personnel and/or Sales Managers Requirements 3+ years of landscape installation experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or foreman role Strong understanding of plant materials, landscape design, irrigation, installation techniques and basic horticultural knowledge Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to read and follow landscape plans and instructions Physically capable of lifting 50–70 lbs. and working outdoors in all weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record Experience operating light to mid-sized landscape equipment (skid steer, trencher, etc.) Commitment to customer satisfaction and Lukas Nursery’s standards of excellence
