JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of landscape design principles and have experience in creating sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. You will be responsible for drafting concepts, preparing detailed plans, and collaborating with clients and our landscape designer to bring their visions to life.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD (2025) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance practices.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with hardscape design elements and land surveying techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.
    We specialize in custom landscape design and construction: pools, hardscapes, lighting, irrigation systems, and high-end outdoor environments. Our team is known for exceptional quality, quality relationships with zoning and HOA boards, and long-standing client relationships throughout the Coachella Valley for over 30 years.
    We are looking for an employee to ultimately grow into a permanent position. Opportunities exist for potential partnerships and equity ownership.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

  • Prepare construction documents, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, and irrigation designs.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs are and aligned with project goals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and direct priorities.
  • Track time on individual projects and report to landscape architect.
  • Ability to work on several projects and report to landscape architect.
  • Ability to take existing AutoCAD plans to create 3D video walkthroughs of completed plans.
