Description Landscape Designer II (3+ years) - AutoCAD, Site Design, Permitting, ADA Design Finger Lakes and Southern Tier site development projects tied to campus, municipal, parks, and community-focused work while building toward licensure and greater design ownership. Support construction documents, permitting plans, ADA details, agency coordination, and technical production for projects moving from concept to approval and construction. What You’ll Do Produce technical documents and construction drawings for small projects; support the design and production of larger multidisciplinary projects. Contribute to site design, grading plans, layout development, ADA implementation, and construction-ready documentation. Coordinate design requirements with civil, transportation, planning, and other team members to keep project work aligned and moving. Conduct product and material research; develop practical design and product solutions and present them for consideration. Apply office standard details and adapt them to project-specific requirements while maintaining strong drawing organization and project file integrity. Requirements What We’re Looking For 3+ years of landscape architecture experience and a degree in Landscape Architecture. Progress toward landscape architecture licensure and interest in increasing design ownership. Strong AutoCAD, technical production, documentation, and task-management skills. Clear written, verbal, and graphic communication skills with strong follow-through and attention to detail. Collaborative mindset, ability to respond well to feedback, and ownership of assigned work. Preferred Qualifications Experience producing technical documents for small projects with increasing independence. Familiarity with ADA requirements and practical implementation in project work. Experience coordinating with other disciplines and contributing to buildable design solutions. Comfort with office standards, materials research, and production document organization.
