Responsibilities Our newest opportunity is for a talented Landscape Engineer for our Road and Infrastructure project based in Doha, Qatar. You will support the supervision, coordination, and quality control of landscape and irrigation works on major roads and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and contract requirements. We envisage success in this role to include; Monitoring and inspecting landscape and irrigation works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contracts. Reviewing landscape specifications, materials, method statements, shop drawings, and implementation plans, recommending submissions for approval. Supervising and coordinating with inspectors to ensure contractor works are properly monitored. Reviewing and monitoring manpower deployment against contract and construction plans. Providing on-site technical direction and supporting the issuance of site instructions for landscape and associated works. Checking, measuring, and recording completed landscape works, supporting progress tracking against the approved programme. Supporting the Planning Engineer in monitoring progress and reporting actual versus planned works. Conducting technical reviews of tender documents and returned tenders related to landscape works. Attending weekly and monthly meetings, with specific focus on landscape and HSSE matters. Liaising with stakeholders to support smooth handover of completed landscape assets. Reviewing and ensuring accuracy and completeness of landscape as-built drawings. Qualifications To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 10 years of work experience in landscape engineering, site supervision, and quality control on roads or infrastructure projects, partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture, along with UPDA/MMUP certification.
